3rd WEDNESDAY — YOUNG ADULTS PRAY! | join the church to pray to seek the face and hand of God. with work, going out, serving, maybe even school, making it every week to pray with the church can be difficult. well, make it a point to attend this one night out of the month. 2016 AMOR HOUSE BUILDING TRIPS — COME BUILD LOVE! | our dates are set and registration is FB-cover4open. bring God’s love to mexico and do good. if you’ve never gone before, this will be an eye-opening and transforming experience. valid travel passport is required, and participation is limited. Trip 1 is Feb 12-15. Trip 2 is Mar 19-22. a general description can be found at our faq page. why go? love.


WINTER/SPRING COMMUNION GROUPS : CONVERGENCE 
| we’re just a few weeks away from starting our next session of weekday small groups for young adults. we’re targeting the first week of february, feb 1 -5. keep an eye out for details. we can always use your help to make the best small groups. contact ramon ho or john chow to get plugged in.

COMFY COZY CORNER — SAT, FEB 20 | young adult women, save the date for our first comfy cozy corner in 2016. 10am at suzie gee’s house. *breakfast will be served. rsvp to come.

THE POWER TO CHANGE — SAT & SUN, MAR 5 & 6 | mark your calendar and prepare to attend this church-wide prayer conference at fcbc-la. you may feel stuck in your spiritual journey or you know your prayer life sucks. attend this conference and be struck with inspired truths to see how the two are connected. the power to change starts with this decision.

SICK? STAY HOME | the beginning of flu and cold season is here. if you’re ill to any degree, be courteous and stay home to recover and prevent the spread of illness. while your presence will be missed, “look out for the interest—and health—of others.”

SPECIAL CONCERT OF PRAYER AT ESPM — WED, DEC 23 | by words of prayer and songs of worship, we’ll take an intimate journey through our Savior’s birth to his glorious resurrection. bring your bibles, and be prepared to behold Him. Come…let us adore Him together! praise center, 7:45 – 9:15 pm. | while the activities and preparations for christmas are important, let’s not forget to engage the One who provides the reason for celebration. let’s gather together to adore Him—Christ the Lord!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO STELLA! TO DENISE! TO AARON & JEN! send some words of cheer to our young adult missionaries who are spending this Christmas in the field. keep them in prayer, that Christmas will have special significance to them as they serve those who don’t know the Savior or are building up the local body of Christ.

COMMUNION GROUPS ON BREAK 
| we just wrapped up our 12-week connections series. we’ve had a fantastic study through the book of daniel and great fellowship in community. the next series — convergence — will begin toward the end of january 2016, and it will run several months. will you pray for pastor john and the leadership team as they seek God’s direction on how the groups should be organized and the study we’ll all undertake. pray for your participation and commitment to a small group, too.
