CAMP RULES
It is necessary for each of us (campers, counselors, and staff) to follow a few rules. These rules will help preserve the proper Christian atmosphere and promote a spirit of cooperation between individuals and group.
- Obey all adult leaders (Directors, Counselors, Bus Drivers, and Lifeguards).
- Leave all books/magazines, cards, iPods or other portable electronics, water guns, skateboards, in line skates, or any other toys/games at home. You will not need them on the bus or at camp.
- Pack food for Monday’s lunch only. Food, drinks, and candy are not allowed in the cabins, as they attract ants. ALL FOOD FOUND IN CABINS WILL BE CONFISCATED!
- Turn in all medication at the Orientation. All medication will be dispensed by the Nurses, under their supervision. Tell your counselors if you feel ill or if there is something bothering you.
- Take care of the campground; use the trash receptacles.
- Attend all scheduled activities, on time, with your cabin, unless excused by the Camp Director.
- Bring your Bible, notebook, and pen to all Worship Services, Bible Studies, and Workshops.
- Keep your activity at a moderate level to avoid over exhaustion. Remember, the air is thinner in the mountains.
- Observe the afternoon rest periods. Remain in your bunk during rest time.
- Stay on your own respective side of the campground (i.e., Guys’ and Girls’ Cabins).
- Remain in lighted areas and on the campground, unless participating in a counselor-led (director-approved) group activity.
- Remain in your cabin after “Lights Out”.
- Use of alcohol, tobacco or drugs is prohibited.
- JUNIORS: Limit yourself to no more than one (1) can of soda each day. Also limit your intake of milk and dairy products; this will prevent gas attacks.
• DRESS POLICY: All clothing must be within the bounds of decency and good taste. Clothing deemed to be distractive will not be allowed. This includes, but is not limited to:
- No bare midriffs, low-cut or revealing blouses or shirts.
- Garments shall be sufficient to conceal undergarments for both males and females. Clothing material and color shall also be sufficient to prevent undergarments from showing through.
- The length of dresses, skirts, and shorts shall be longer than camper’s longest finger when standing in an upright position, shoulders relaxed.
- A 1” minimum width of all shirt straps is required.
- Any inappropriate messaging on any parts of clothing is prohibited.
